Broadview Hts. Fire Department, Broadview Hts., Ohio. The Fire Department contacted Sensible Products about configuring a way to add equipment storage under the seats of their F350 Fire Department Pickup Truck. The department wanted an area for equipment storage in the back seat of the pickup truck when the seats were folded up. Sensible Products designed and fabricated a fold out, hinged mechanism, plastic storage shelf with 3 straps. The shelf assembly was fabricated out of black HDPE plastic. After the seats are folded up, simply unfold the plastic hinged shelf out from under the seat and rest on the floor of the truck. Three 42″ heavy duty straps on the shelf will secure any equipment the department wants to carry. This project was completed in 1/2 day.
