KME Rescue Pumper for Cardinal Joint Fire District Canfield, Ohio. This was the third truck we outfitted for this department. This KME was an older truck the Chief and committee wanted to clean up and resemble the two new pumpers we did for them the previous week. We mounted all water flow equipment in the first drivers side compartment on Chanl Panl wall boards or black poly floor boards. Lower first drivers side compartment contained two saws, fuel cans, and extra saw blades we mounted using some existing brackets. All forcible entry tools were mounted on a slightly elevated black poly floor board or on the back wall of the second drivers side compartment. Ventilation fans and shovels were also secured on the drivers side. The rear of the apparatus contains a Blitz Force, Winch, and Rit Pack. A Chanl Panl wall board was added on the passengers side to mount a crash kit, and left room to add additional equipment there if needed. The extrication cabinet consisted of creating a raised shelf to hold step chocks underneath and rams above. Black poly floor boards were added in all areas of this cabinet. Cutters, Spreaders, and Chain Kit were all secured. Custom plastic welded brackets by Sensible Products holds the hoses. A custom plastic welded box by Sensible Products was created to hold the Rams. Three extinguishers were secured with a strap near the EMS Equipment cabinet. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags for ease of use. This truck was completed in 3 days and is ready to go back in service when arriving at the Fire Department.
