Two KME Rescue Pumpers for Cardinal Joint Fire District Canfield, Ohio. We met with the Chief and apparatus committee and reviewed over the body design and requirements for each truck. The body design and cabinet configurations were both the same on the two pumpers. We mounted all water flow equipment in the first drivers side compartment on Chanl Panl wall boards or black poly floor boards. All forcible entry tools were mounted in a tip down tray lined with black poly board. Saws, shovels, and ventilation fans were all grouped together in one cabinet with saws on a fixed shelf and fans on a pull out tray. Blitz Fire, Rit Pack, Winch, and Low Level Strainer were all secured in the rear of the truck. We mounted cutters, spreaders, rams, and power unit on a pull out tray in the extrication cabinet. Plastic welded dividers by Sensible Products secured the air bags and cones. A set of irons, TNT tool, and roof hook were all mounted in the front bumper. Both trucks were labeled with red/white tags for easy identification. Both trucks were totally completed in 5 days and Ready to Go In-Service when leaving Sensible Products.
