Year Completed: 2016

Greenfield Twp. Fire Department, Carroll, Ohio. New Rosenbauer Rescue Pumper. Prior to the department bringing the truck to Sensible Products, we reviewed over their equipment list, looked at the new apparatus, and prepared a detailed quote. We worked with a few members of the committee and defined locations of equipment, they then reviewed this and made a few minor adjustments. Water flow equipment was all mounted on two vertical slide out boards with couplings on one side and nozzles on the other side. One vertical panel was left blank for future use. In the second drivers side compartment, we utilized our new plastic welding capabilities to prebuild a board assembly here and many other board and plastic welded assemblies that were mounted in several of the cabinets. We started with a black floor board, added welded dividers for the hose rolls, tool box, and oil dry containers. Our ability to weld a variety of brackets and assemblies allows for custom work in a very cost effective manner. The top of this cabinet had two straps added for a RIT and High Rise Pack. In the drivers side rear compartment we mounted Paratech Struts using our Chanl Panl, plastic welded components, and a post/pin assembly. The footplates hung on the wall of this cabinet. On the opposite side of this Chanl Panl board, we mounted sawzalls, extra blades, and rams. The rear of the apparatus contained cribbing, which we again welded a plastic divider assembly to hold the cribbing in place. In the passenger side front compartment, we secured a winch and chimney bucket. Second passengers side compartment was already outfitted with a swing out tool board, in which we mounted all the forcible entry tools to. The passengers side rear compartment contained two ventilation fans, saws, and fuel cans, all which we secured. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags for ease of use. This truck was completely outfitted in 3 1/2 days and ready to Go In-Service when leaving Sensible Products.
