Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department, Hayesville, OH. This is the second apparatus Sensible Products Inc. has outfitted for this department. This apparatus is an older engine that the department wanted re-worked and cleaned up to better utilize space and functionality of the apparatus. Sensible Products Inc. had visited this department to get an idea of what the department wanted and then provided a quote. Once the apparatus arrived at Sensible Products the equipment mounting plan was already in place. In the first drivers side compartment, all old plywood and SCBA brackets were removed and Chanl Panl wall boards were added. All LDH fittings, small couplings, adapters, gate valves, and nozzles were mounted. The SCBAs were then remounted to the Chanl Panl with the same brackets. In the second drivers side compartment, all current shelves were removed and a black poly floor board was added. One new shelf was added and two extinguishers were mounted. In the rear compartment, a Chanl Panl wall board was added and three stabilizer jacks and bolt cutters were mounted. On the passengers side rear compartment, two axes, halligan, and crash axe were mounted. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 2 1/2 days.
