Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department, Hayesville, Ohio. New Sutphen Pumper configured for fire operations. Sensible Products met with truck committee at their station to go over the new truck and figure out mounting options. The truck and equipment was then delivered to Sensible Products in Richfield and final mounting locations were determined. First drivers side compartment consisted of 2 vertical slide out panels where Chanl Panl boards were mounted on each side of the vertical slide out and also on bulkhead walls. Water flow equipment was mounted on one side of the slide out, leaving the opposite side open for future use. One SCBA was mounted on a second vertical slide out and leaving the opposite side open for future use. The second drivers side compartment consisted of adding black floor boards and mounting saws, saw parts, and shovels on an out/down tip down tray. The shovels were secured with a custom plastic welded box stopper and a custom welded bracket for the handles to slip down over. A universal tool pocket was added to mount saw parts and fuel. The third drivers side compartment consisted of mounting a custom plastic welded divider by Sensible Products for future use in this cabinet. The rear of the compartment consisted of a custom plastic welded divider for hose rolls and foam. The middle divider is removable to accommodate larger items. The third passengers side compartment consisted of mounting a Chanl Panl wall board in the upper portion of the cabinet to mount axes and portable light. A custom bracket was designed to hold the light in place. The lower portion of the third passengers side compartment consisted of mounting a generator and ventilation fan. A Chanl Panl wall board was mounted in the second drivers side compartment to mount tools. A black poly floor board with aluminum lip was added to allow for more mounting space on the floor of the compartment. A Chanl Panl wall board was mounted in the first passengers side compartment to mount additional water flow equipment in the upper portion of this cabinet. A custom plastic welded divider was added in the lower portion of this cabinet to secure more hose rolls and 3 extinguishers. Two custom plastic welded boxes were mounted on the outside of both sides of the truck to hold a claw tool and pike pole. After all equipment was mounted, there is significant space left for additional equipment. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 4 days and is ready to Go In-Service when leaving Sensible Products.
