Lake Twp. Fire Department, Millbury, OH. New Sutphen Custom Pumper Tanker. This truck has two side dump shoots and carries a variety of LDH fittings and smaller couplings and adapters. Sensible Products packaged all water flow components in the first drivers side cabinet. All couplings, adapters, and (8) LDH fittings were mounted on Chanl Panl rear and side wall boards. A total of 16 water flow appliances were mounted in this area. A shelf from the rear of the apparatus was reconfigured and relocated to the water flow cabinet to hold nozzles on vertical mounts. Low level strainer and barrel strainer were secured and a bracket for an SCBA for the driver was added here as well. A portable light, brooms, and shovels were secured in the second drivers side compartment. The third drivers side compartment contained a chain saw, saw parts, and PPV fan all of which were mounted and secured. The rear of the apparatus contained extrication equipment. Mounts were fabricated for cutters, spreaders, and rams. A custom post was made to hold the hoses. Third passengers side compartment contained a monitor base, BlitzFire, and two extinguishers, all of which were mounted and secured with either an aluminum stop/divider or plastic welded divider as shown for the extinguishers. The second passengers side compartment contained all hand tools such as a pike pole, bolt cutter, sledge hammer, pick and flat head axes, all of which were mounted on a Chanl Panl rear wall board. The first passengers side compartment included mounting a Chanl Panl wall board for future use and a plastic welded divider and a custom cubby hole box for air bottles. A set of irons was mounted in the cab. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags for ease of use. This truck was completed in 4 days and is ready to Go In-Service when leaving Sensible Products.
