New Rescue Truck for Poland Fire Department, Poland, Ohio. Sensible Products met with members of the Fire Department at their station to look at the truck and review over their equipment mounting requirements. Once the truck arrived at Sensible Products, the equipment mounting plan was already in place. In the first drivers side compartment, which was a traverse compartment, a fabricated divider was made with Chanl Panl boards on both sides to hold the Little Giant Ladder. The Little Giant Ladder was strapped down with a heavy duty yellow strap. On the other side of the Chanl Panl board, the Reeves stretcher was secured, a pocket mounted for extra parts, and a yellow box mounted to hold the hand control for the Wilburt light. Storage space was also made for a backboard. Two SCBAs were mounted on each end of the divider to be accessed by both sides of the truck. In the second drivers side compartment, black poly floor boards were mounted on both slide out trays and all tools were mounted here. In the third drivers side compartment, black poly floor boards were mounted on the slide out trays and mounts were provided for meters and battery tools. In the rear of the truck, a plastic welded storage box was made and mounted to the slide out tray to hold three fire extinguishers. In the passengers side of the truck, various bags were secured. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 3 days.
