Sheffield Twp. Fire Department, Kingsville, OH. This job was a clean up and reorganization of equipment on an older apparatus. The Fire Department contacted Sensible Products Inc. about cleaning up their apparatus with new mounting equipment. Sensible Products visited the Fire Department and came up with an equipment mounting plan. Once the apparatus arrived at Sensible Products Inc. the plan was reviewed and work began. On the drivers side, all old plywood boards and mounting equipment was removed. In the first compartment, a white poly board was mounted to the back wall and all water flow equipment was mounted on proper brackets. This included LDH fittings, small couplings, adapters, and one nozzle. In the second compartment, a white poly board was mounted to the back wall and all tools were mounted in this area. In the third compartment, a white poly board was mounted to the back wall and two fire extinguishers were re-mounted on existing brackets. In a lower compartment on the drivers side, a plastic welded hose roll divider was made and installed to hold and separate three rolls of hose. On the passengers side lower compartment, a black poly floor board was mounted and a generator, two saws, extra blades, and fuel cans were mounted. Also on the passenger side, two portable lights were mounted above the ladder rack in custom brackets and foot plates. On the drivers and passengers side, a piece of aluminum and black poly were mounted to hold 100 ft. of extra hose line. This truck was completed in 1 1/2 days.
