Strongsville Fire Department, Strongsville, Ohio. New Sutphen Top-Mount Pumper. We worked with the committee over one year ago to plan out fire and extrication equipment to be carried on the apparatus. We had previously done work for Strongsville Fire Department mounting Paratech struts and strut kits on two other Engines. The new Engine is set up for fire fighting and extraction response. The Paratech struts are all mounted on one vertical slide out panel with 4 struts, 4 extension tubes, various foot plates, and additional foot plates for shoring. A few shelves were moved around to better use all of the space. You will notice that we utilized our plastic welder to fabricate many of the components throughout the truck. All equipment was mounted and labeled by Sensible Products. Truck was completed in 3 1/2 days and is ready to Go In Service.
