New Sutphen Pumper for Bath Fire Department, Bath, Ohio. The truck and equipment arrived at Sensible Products and an equipment mounting plan was developed. In the first drivers side compartment, all water flow equipment was mounted. Black poly floor boards were added to each of the two shelves, and a plastic welded divider liner by Sensible Products was added on the floor to hold foam buckets. 1.5″ nozzles, MasterStream, water thief and a foam tip were mounted on the shelves and barrier tape and a mallet were mounted on the wall. Chanl Panl boards were added to both sides of the vertical slide out. All large diameter fittings, small couplings, wrenches, pipe wrench, hose roller, and piercing nozzle were mounted on here. In the second drivers side compartment, a black poly floor board was added to the slide out/down unit and Rescue 42 Jacks were mounted here. Each jack was held in place by a custom plastic welded cradle bracket and plastic pegs. They are secured as they wont bounce or slide when the out/down unit is pulled out, but easily lifted for grab and go. In the lower portion of this compartment, a plastic welded divider liner was added to hold and separate the RIT pack, air chisel, sawzall, and tool box. A 1″ x 1″ aluminum strip was added to the front of the compartment to prevent equipment from sliding forward. In the third drivers side compartment, a cargo net was added to hold cribbing in place. A custom plastic welded box was made to hold bags of absorbent. In the lower portion of this compartment, a custom plastic welded divider liner was added to hold three air bags and controls. The divider creates three slots for air bags and an open area for future use. A strap on the dividers holds the air bags in place. In the rear of the apparatus, a strap was added to secure the electric fan. In the third passengers side compartment, a Chanl Panl rear wall board was added in the top portion of this compartment for future use. A hydrant bag sits on the shelf in this area. In the lower portion of this compartment, a Chanl Panl rear wall board was added, a black poly floor board was added, a chain and rotary saw were mounted, and a pocket for saw parts was added to the Chanl Panl board. A plastic welded divider secures two fire extinguishers with a strap across the front. In the second passengers side compartment, all hand tools were mounted. Chanl Panl rear and side wall boards were added and tools including: K-tool, claw tool, TNT tool, pick head axe, bolt cutters, sledge hammer, pry bar, and Akron hydrant wrench were mounted. In the first passengers side compartment, a Chanl Panl rear wall board was added in the top section of this compartment and cord adapters and portable lights were mounted. A plastic welded adjustable shelf by Sensible Products was added in the middle of this compartment to hold an electrical kit and miscellaneous cords. The shelf was made adjustable as the FD can move it up or down as needed per their equipment needs. In the lower portion of this compartment, a plastic welded divider liner was added to hold tarps and a bag with 200’life line. In the small compartment behind the passengers side door a set of irons and water extinguisher were mounted. A PVC tube was also added to hold a NY hook. In the same compartment on the drivers side, another set of irons were mounted. Also in this area, a custom plastic welded box was made to hold a warning sign. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 3 1/2 days.
