New Firovac Tanker for Chippewa Twp. Fire Department, Doylestown, Ohio. Sensible Products visited Chippewa Twp. Fire Department once their new apparatus arrived to develop and equipment mounting plan, while determining what could be reused from their older apparatus. Once the apparatus arrived at Sensible Products, Chanl Panl wall boards were installed the full length of the drivers side compartment. All water flow holders were cleaned and reused on the Chanl Panl boards and posts were re-worked to mount on the Chanl Panl boards. Two sets of wrenches, two nozzles, and a wye were also mounted here. Several tools including a pick and flat head axe, claw tool, and pry bar were also mounted. A hose roller and mallet were mounted on the side walls of this compartment. In the lower front compartment on the drivers side, Turtle Tile and a black poly floor board was added. Several mounts for cam-lock fittings were fabricated and mounted. In the back compartment on the passengers side, a black poly floor board with plastic welded dividers was mounted to hold hose rolls. In the front passengers side compartment, a black poly floor board was added and a custom plastic welded shelf and air bottle holder were fabricated and mounted. Straps were provided for (2) low level strainers. A plastic washer was fabricated to mount the barrel strainer and an extinguisher bracket was mounted on the side wall. In the rear of the apparatus, (2) plastic tubes were added to hold (2) pike poles. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 2 1/2 days.
