City of Northwood Fire Department, Northwood, Ohio. The Fire Department’s new Pierce Pumper was delivered to Sensible Products for equipment mounting. In the first drivers side compartment, a Chanl Panl wall board was added for future use to mount equipment that wasn’t currently with the truck. Quicklocks were provided to the F.D. to mount 3 nozzles on the shelf in this compartment. In the lower portion of this compartment, a Chanl Panl board was mounted on one side of the slide out panel for fitting posts and storz mounts and a mallet bracket and wrenches were mounted on the opposite side. A black floor board was added to the floor of this slide out tray. In the second drivers side compartment, Chanl Panl was added to the back wall and swing out tool board. Several tools were mounted on the swing out and back wall, and space and engraved labels were left for additional tools that the department will add to the board back at the station. In the third drivers side compartment, a black floor board was added and a custom welded assembly was constructed and mounted to secure three extinguishers on the slide out tray. Engraved labels were put on in this compartment to note the locations of future equipment. In the rear of the apparatus, labels were added to show locations of the PPV Fan, hard suction, ladders and their sizes, and NY Hooks and their lengths. In the third passengers side compartment, black floor boards were mounted, one in a shelf and one in a slide out tray. A chain saw and K12 saw were mounted, a pocket mounted for saw parts, a pocket mounted for bar oil and fuel, and a saw blade post was mounted on the wall for extra blades. Engraved labels were put where future equipment is to go. In the second passengers side compartment, an aluminum adjustable divider was constructed and mounted to separate various rope bags, RIT pack, etc. The dividers can be moved to make the space bigger or smaller based on equipment needs. In the first passengers side compartment, extrication equipment was mounted on a slide out tray. A custom plastic welded divider assembly by Sensible Products secured and separated the sawzall, ram, cutters and spreaders. Labels were put where future equipment is to go in the upper shelves of this compartment. This truck was completed in 3 days.
