New Pierce Engine for the City of Perrysburg Fire Division. The truck arrived to Sensible Products with most equipment in the locations and labeled as to where it was to be mounted. This cut down on the layout and planning time. In the first drivers side compartment, a Chanl Panl rear wall and side wall board were added to mount water flow equipment. In the lower portion of this compartment, Chanl Panl boards were added to both side of the small slide out panel. All water flow equipment including: small couplings, adapters, storz fittings, hydrant gate, gated wye, mallet, and flares were mounted. In the second drivers side compartment, Chanl Panl boards were added to both sides of the swing out panel and the back wall of the compartment. All hand and forcible entry tools were mounted here including: piercing nozzle, trash hook, sledge hammer, bolt cutters, pick head axe, claw tool, alligator tool, TNT tool, NY hook, and irons. In the third drivers side compartment, black poly floor boards were added on the shelf and floor of the compartment. A custom plastic welded divider box was made to hold four extinguishers on a small slide out tray. In the rear of the apparatus, a black poly floor board was added and holes were cut out to house the feet of the PPV fan. In the third passenger side compartment, black poly floor boards were added on two of the slide out trays. A chain saw, K12 saw, extra blades and two pockets for saw parts were mounted on the middle slide out tray. On the bottom slide out tray, a generator and winch were secured. In the second passengers side compartment, a black poly floor board and 1″ x 1″ aluminum strip were added here along with three custom plastic welded dividers to hold and separate utility rope, search rope, and throw bag. In the first passenger side compartment, a black poly floor board was added to the out/down slide out unit that holds the Rescue 42 Jacks. Custom plastic welded cradle brackets and pegs secured the Rescue 42 jacks in place. They are secured as to not fall out or bounce when the out/down unit is pulled out, but easy to grab and go off and out of the brackets when needed. On the lower slide out tray of this compartment, all extrication equipment was mounted including: cutter, spreader, sawzall, two rams, and step chocks. Cutter, spreader, and ram had custom plastic welded brackets and compartments so each tool has its own location. All equipment was labeled with red/white tags. This truck was completed in 4 days.
